Zoë Wolf, LCSW, CADC

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor

She/ Her/ Hers

Education: Boston University School of Social Work, Master of Social Work; Northeastern University, Bachelor of Science in Political Science

Offering: Person-centered, empowerment focused counseling with a mindfulness based and trauma informed orientation.

After working in preventative mental health care as a mindfulness educator, I gravitated towards social work because of its emphasis on exploring ourselves in the context of the world around us. My orientation as a mental health counselor is rooted in curiosity about what it means to be human and to heal. It is also grounded in the belief that any work we do to understand ourselves more deeply can have a profound reparative impact that goes beyond the individual into the community at large. I have worked as a school based counselor, as well as in in-patient and community health care settings.

My therapeutic work often relies upon breath attention, mindfulness skills, and somatic awareness practices. I also incorporate techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamics. In our work together, it is my hope that you will feel seen, affirmed, and supported. I look forward to meeting you and discussing the ways in which counseling may be beneficial to you at this time in your life.

A little about me…Outside of my work, I am passionate about nature, cooking, and pottery!

She/Her/Hers

Education: University of Southern Maine, Master of Science in Nursing; Bowdoin College, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

Offering: Psychiatric evaluation and psychiatric medication management.

I have provided outpatient psychiatric care in community health centers and social service agencies on both the east and west coasts. My past professional experience includes school-based health centers, substance use treatment, and homeless healthcare programs. I believe in relating to people in an authentic and understanding manner that supports self-determination.

My professional passions include treating mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and supporting the development of insight and self-efficacy. It is a gift to observe human resilience in my work. Within my practice, I aim to nurture awareness into the connections between the body and brain and provide information about the tools we have to support ourselves in feeling well.

A little about me… I was born and raised along the coast of Maine, and deeply respect the kind hearted and strong people that make up our local community. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with animals and delight in a good book, cup of tea, home-cooked meal, and time with loved ones.
